NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed Budget of the Bolton Fire District of the Town of Bolton, State of New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Bolton Fire District, for its consideration.
A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Bolton Fire House, 5003 Lake Shore Drive, Bolton Landing, New York 12345, in the Town of Bolton, State of New York on the 21st day of October, 2014.
Pursuant to Town Law §105, the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing.
The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same.
That a copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town Bolton at Lake Shore Drive, Bolton Landing, NY 12814 and Fire District Secretary at 5003 Lake Shore Drive, Bolton Landing, NY 12814 it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours.

THE TRANSFER STATION SHALL START WINTER HOURS ON NOVEMBER 28th
THEY WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS
Starting on 9/2/2014 the culvert at Finkle Brook will be replaced.
The project will take approximately 6 weeks to complete.
During this period, Potter Hill Road will be closed to all through traffic for about 6 weeks.
We will attempt to complete this work as quickly as possible.

AS OF JUNE 1, 2014 CASH WILL NO LONGER
BE ACCEPTED AT THE TOWN OF BOLTON TRANSFER STATION.
LANDFILL CARDS MAY BE PURCHASED AT THE TOWN HALL, OR THE
TRANSFER STATION USING A CHECK OR MONEY ORDER.
Warren County is in the process of developing a registry for full and part-time residents that may need additional assistance during an emergency for use by local emergency responders. Those who choose to share the information will be asked to provide their age and address, whether they are hearing impaired, whether they have any equipment like oxygen tanks or need dialysis, or have a pacemaker or defibrillator, or medication that requires refrigeration. They are can also detail any other serious medical issues, and whether they are mobile, or need assistance to walk. The information will also collect the names of emergency contacts.
