Board of Assessment Review

The Board of Assement Review consists of 5 members who hear resident's assessment concerns independent from the assessor.  The board evaluates any evidence a property owner might provide showing that their property was assessed incorrectly, and then makes a decision to either deny, grant or compromise with the property owner's request for a new assessment.  If they are still unhappy with their assessment value after that, they would proceed by taking their case to Small Claims Assessment.
