PUBLIC NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a PUBLIC HEARING shall be conducted by the Town Board for the Town of Bolton on October 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be practicable. The Town Board meeting, including the public hearing shall be conducted by ZOOM teleconferencing. Public access to the ZOOM meeting and public hearing may be accessed through the Town of Bolton Website: www.boltonnewyork.com
The public hearing shall be conducted for the purpose of giving consideration to the terms of a proposed agreement to enter into a Ground Lease for a portion of the real property owned by the Town of Bolton Sewer District; an agreement  between the Sewer District and the Town for the municipality’s general improvement and use of a part of the Sewer District premises for general municipal services. Upon the  conclusion of the public hearing the Town of Bolton board members and the Town of Bolton Sewer District Commissioners shall give consideration to a resolution approving the terms of a ground lease and attendant issues. Public comment will be permitted during the ZOOM meeting. Written comments delivered by regular mail, in person or by email in order to be considered at the scheduled public hearing must be received by the Town Clerk’s Office at least twenty four (24) hours prior to the hearing date and time.

 Warren County is in the process of developing a registry for full and part-time residents that may need additional assistance during an emergency for use by local emergency responders.  Those who choose to share the information will be asked to provide their age and address, whether they are hearing impaired, whether they have any equipment like oxygen tanks or need dialysis, or have a pacemaker or defibrillator, or medication that requires refrigeration. They are can also detail any other serious medical issues, and whether they are mobile, or need assistance to walk.  The information will also collect the names of emergency contacts.  Any information regarding language barriers may also be included.  www.warrencountyny.gov/emergency/registry/
